nauseam.

I'm nursing a bad headache and nausea feeling the entire day.
And my face is very red.

Post match:
(Bad headache + nauseam) x 500.

Convo recap:
Me: Oh maaaaan.. this is bad.
Bro: Don't get me wrong but they looked like they are self destructing themselves.
Me: *hands in face*
Bro: Look at Flamini, he's running ard like headless chicken.

The fixtures has come in thick and heavy, playing midweek for weeks is not easy.

Luckily, Song(kok) was not brought on cos we already have THE BEAST(haha!), Si tepong and Ali to do the clowing act.

Liverpool up next.

Recovered?

What a fitting weekend!

Arsenal walloped Blackburn 6-2, Fantastic Goals!
I admit, I used to give Gilbs lots of stick for his lackadaisical jog, stray passes and whatnots. I knew he was in this 'destroyer' role, breaking up opponent's play but I don't see him doing much of anything else. And it gets worse when he FAILS to destroy opponents play but disrupt our own attack. BUT heck he's blossoming into one helluva captain, don't u think?
I love love love the way he gets on with this determine look on his face. And the way he steps up his game as an example for his team mates to do the same. For now, he's GOOD!

I think the team breaks into better with Rosa around.
Hleb does gets on my nerves sometimes when he twirl around too much, loses the ball or mispass.

Holidays are good but it gets even better when you get endless movie treats. I think I lay on the couch close to 12 hrs yesterday, its a bliss to be channel surfing on a windy day and endless supplies of good movies to watch.
I caught Just Friends yesterday, and OMG! I love Ryan Renolds's nose lah!heee heee heee.

The one thing I regretted not watching in the cinema is Batman Begins. I have never watched it until yesterday . And my, true to the reviews I've gotten. It is THAT good.

I like Jim Gordon most, Mr Sirius Black (Gary Oldman!) has that charm that makes me squeee, the same way when I see Paul, Liam, Ewan and Hleb. And something abt that accent is cute.
I still think Michael Keaton is the best BATMAN (and worst Bruce Wayne, receding hairline!) and Val Kilmer was an excellent Bruce Wayne. Altho' what Christian Bale has to offer is strike of balance btwn the 2 characters and has a trace of that dark brooding presence. But what's with that Batman gruff voice? ahahahaha.

Hmm do I need to mention G. Clooney? Ah maaan.. He destroys Batman. Worst ever.

p/s: OK. I will gobble up and take back my words now. Zed Zaidi TAK MACAM Xtian Bale cept for that unfortunate incident when Bale sported this centre parting hairstyle. Apart from that. NO. heh

I hate selfish prick.

Slave the day.

Will be working for 12 hrs for the nxt 2 days. *gallant sigh* Nothing new huh?

The more I look at it from different facet and angle, a new obstacle seems to greet. Maybe I should leave it alone, but how do I live with that kind of conscience?

Sometimes, I feel like I'm talking to cows, it's either they don't understand me or too thick to understand my idea? All I hear is equivalent to Moo Moo Moo.

If I can breathe in from my own nostrils, you can do too. I wish more ppl starts to breathe independently, start to depend on ur own blardey nostrils, damn it.

p/s: Been busy babes, will get back to u guys when its not so clouded. Happy Holidays!

And you shade me.

I am now, at least 5 shades darker from my original skin colour.
I don't mind growing slightly darker but 5 shades dok. No joke man.
This is what you get, when you refuse to leave the pool/beach after 6 hrs under the noon sun.
*regrets

We bought MUSE tickets already! wooo hooo!
16th has got to be the ULTIMATE concert date or sumthg.
Performances I fancy will all fall on the 16th. Coincidence habis.

eat snake.

This is a rare moment. I am currently slacking away till 6pm like nobody business. ahakahkhaka. I've not done anything today, procrastinating at it's best. My mind obviously on a weekend mode already and I am so looking forward to the weekend (like always!) because I got quite a few things lined up.

Am gonna meet Jane later, after 1 (2?) years of not seeing each other. Ahkahkahka. We missed the yearly meet up/book binge/food binge. Makes me worried a lil bit. What if we have nothing in common to talk about?. haha. I spent my 2 good years going for movies every tueday with Jane. I wonder if she is still sadistic...hmmm...

The Penyus also contemplating to meet me later today.

I love the new VANS cos its giving my feet a firm hug. I still miss my OLD one cos its easier to slip in but the new one smells better! Oooh I love the smell of new leather. *sniffs* ahakhakak.

I still have good 20 mins to go... what should I do?...

Let's talk

Admist all your NONsense, you make the most sense...

heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Monday, November 27, 2006

Talkshow on mute.

Putting S/h/e/b/b/y Singh and Steve M/a/c/m/a/h/o/n in a single studio, is two idiots too many.

I like the tempo of ManU vs Chelski game.
Tackles flying from everywhere and it was pretty quick altho' the gunners still churns out the bestest football in the league. It's a match of mental grit, which I believe is a good result for Chelsea and left ManU to rue their missed chances.

Heh. Anything to keep the leaders within sight. Albeit hopes are diminishing (reality kicks in?) if we could still win the league after XX points behind the leaders. Oh hey, jangan putus asa dulu.

Dah tak tahu nak cakap apa?

Are we being just plain unlucky or incompetent at our goalscoring?
3 shots hit the woodwork in the 2nd half. We were much better in the 2nd half but how did Anelka managed to add in another?

I concede we were poor in patches.
defensive lapses.
misplaced passes.

I like Theo and Cesc tho'.

Glad but not so glad.

hey ho!
Gd news first!
I found my phone, it was not lost. To those who says I am careless. Sod it! I did not lose my phone.

Bad news is I sold it off. After it was found in not a very favourable condition. And NO, It did not ended up in that state due to my negligence.

If you wanna the full story, email me for it. It's just well, too painful to be blogged. hah.

Ok lah, gotta rush home, nak tengok Arsenal vs Hamburg repeat. TEAM SENDEROS!

Nasib mcm kentang.

The brother showed his disappointment by keeping really quiet and giving me a long sigh.
I rather have the tongue lashing, cos the guilty conscience is maddening.
Knowing that he bought me the phone for my birthday, from his measly army pay and coming from him who hardly spends on himself is enough to make fill me with guilt.

I can see a barrage of 'I told you so's coming up but do cut me some slack, I don't need that.
I've learnt my lesson the last time and I always keep my phone it with me. Always. It's not like I leave it around.

But but but... life has to go on. Time to revive my scratchy yucky dusty motorola again.
Yang peliknya, Motorola nie berzaman-zaman aku pakai. Tak HILANG-HILANG, chet! bukan aku nak benda nie hilang ah BUT asal eh? Mungkin burok sangat, perampok nampak pon geli.

Apanyer nasib sey, kasot pecah, handphone ilang, bnyk keje, kena marah... haizzzz...

I think MY BROTHER WILL KILL ME.

I lost/misplaced/got stolen? my K800i.

Still a swampy grove

What could hurt/upset me more than Arsenal losing another game? It's when I kena BASTARDIZED. Oh luper, aku nie kan doormat.

Tuesday, October 31, 2006

Swamped.

I am filled to the brim.
I have no idea how to survive this week.
The boss will be back tomorrow, another pressure cooker day for me.

am laying off football for a while, as to Kay's suggestion. I am not abandoning it for good, I'll still keep myself updated but I will not wake up in the wee hours for it or spent my entire weeknights watching replays. I lose all sense that these guys are human after all and there is only so much one can do. And I whine and whine and whine about every single gunner, every single week, even when we are winning. Forgotten about their real worth. Maybe it's time to spend my time on other things that I enjoy.

It's been eons since I've been to the movies. I've got a long list to catch, which sadly, came and gone. Anybody up for a movie, jio me leh.

I've got a friggin' bowling competition this weekend. And I yet to practise. Sakit pinggang lagi lah nampaknyer. And NO WAY, I am going to be Longkang Queen this year.

Lastly...

*Squeeee* heee heee heee heee heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~!

purr on.

it's blardey six am and a cat has been meowing non-stop in our corridor.
I have no idea why is it here, seemingly non of us in this house are big fans of cats and we do have a Felinophobic amongst us.

It irritates the hell out of me when these pet owners/animal lovers, let their cats roam around the neighbourhood. And poo-pooed on other's doors. This is not the wild you know, we don't have all the time in the world to clear your cat feaces admist our flower pots. And I recognised these cats, I CHASED them out of my house countless times. The next time, I'm gonna put marking on these cats lah. And if I spotted the same markings on the cats that I see feeding on that pet bowl near that neighbour, I'm gonna go there and yanked the owner's hair and smear her face with the cat feaces I collected. I don't believe in abusing cats lah eh, pasal binatang tu tak salah yg salah tuan yg punya.

Tengoklah bapak aku bukak pintu nak gi kerja dier meluru masok rumah terpaksa kena angkat keluar, nasib baik bapak aku ada. Aku suruh bapak aku bawak gi Jurong Island baru tahu kang.
Tongong betol nak pelihara binatang tapi tak tahu jaga betol2. Geram, can?

woi tensi woi.

70th minute into the CL game with CSKA Moscow. We are ONE down.
Our defence is horrendous.
Gilbs keeps losing possesion of the ball, kena potong mcm air beb. Macam air.
Cesc got marked really close and there is nothing much he could do. RVP was quite good too cept for that goal mouth boo boo. He really should do something with his right leg, its only SLIGHTLY better than a plank of wood. Hoyte is CRAP, menyakitkan hati, jiwa dan raga.

If there is anything that is salvaging here is Hleb and Rosa link play <3

Dalam keadaan yg penuh genting:
Me: Too bad Cesc is tightly marked, because Rosicky and Hleb's link play is so nice. Those two really can connect.
Bro: A ah, pakai USB port per.
Me: -_-|||~!

If i had known better, I would have thought Gilberto kelong. He's trying his best to win balls for CSKA.

accident or intentional?

The Dad opened up the wrong can of paint. And what should be high gloss paint for the doors, he painted on my wall. There goes my room. Uwaaaaagh!

Get well soon Cech! Although, I may not be a Chelski fan but I still think you are one helluva keeper, so yeah, its a joy to watch talented people like you.

Sure, it looked like Hunt's inability to stop in time/jump over OR purely accidental to some people but no one would lowered their knee like that when falling especially so if you are a professional and knees are effectively tool of your trade. Unless, they know that the impact on that keeper's face will cushioned the knee right? See, Pires for all his diving antics WILL NEVER do THAT lor. He jumps to avoid clashing and people say he freaking DIVES. From what I see, what I see doesnt matter lah eh, pasal saper lah aku nie kan, frm what the rest see *ok the rest comprises of an amateur and a professional ex footballers* THAT clash could have been avoided. That lowering of the knee was quite an awkward thing to do. And HE was never too late to jump. And you could see he was still looking at where he is running and most importantly Cech already had the ball in hand wayyy before he comes in. Which only confirm our suspicion that Hunt has that malicious intent to catch him. And catch him, he did.

accident or intentional?

Is it us complicating things?

Can you want to protect someone so much that you hurt them even more?
Nobody is perfect and so are you.

Foood is love~

Another satisfying iftar with Toots and Yanni at Fig & Olive. I arrived half an hour late, with a growling stomach but it was worth it. It was good considering it was a white pasta sauce which i have always dislike, generous portions and CHEAP! Heh.

This Ramadhan has been such a food galore for me. And yes Yanni, mencekik we did!

We head down to Geylang after the meal to get buy Yanni's mum a baju, which Toots opted out and she waited for Yusri instead..You should have joined us lah babe, we shop very fast, that we were home before 11pm and we still managed to walk a bit at the bazaar leh. Mcm well-accomplished day gitu. Nothing much to see, its always the same year after year and if it's not for Yanni, I probably wouldn't go to Geylang this year.

I need to get a baju for my nenek kesayangan intan payung aku tuuu, so I might make another trip down. Oh well, she chose to MERAJOK on the day we went kain shopping itself, so I conveniently forgot to buy her a set.

This week, will mark the end of me going out until Eid itself.
I will go out ONLY if my parents asked me to and to do my obligations. I wanna be a hermit.

--------> End of my typical day update<----------

I hate international friendlies can?
It cause a stutter to my happy dosage of my gunners.
I hope the boys comes back unscathed.

I had ball of a time at Yahoo!Answers. Loads of Cesc vs C.Ron and C.Ron vs RP7 comparisons.
Bountiful of ridiculous answers.

Power, Precise, Panache Pires.

This came in this morning *Thanks Kay:

Arsene did a webchat on Arsenal.com today and some interesting thingscame out of it. He said his biggest regret in football was playing Pires against Newcastle in 2002 as he never intended for him to playand then the day before changed his mind. He felt Pires was the best player in the world then and feels guilty and responsible for his injury led decline.

I couldn't agree more.
He is indeed one of the unique footballers I have ever seen. (Judgement not based on looks ah)
It's time to watch 2003/2004 season again. Maybe I SHOULD buy that 2001/2002 season one too.

Why smoke?

The freaking number of emails sits in my inbox.
but.. but i have to be in my calmest mode.
Cause I am fasting and I refused to lose control of my sanity.
So I need, yes i NEED to rant a bit here.

- FREAKING 6PM emails, when my email has been pretty much dormant the entire day. Some ppl just start work at 6pm BUT I NEED to leave work at 6pm so as to be home on time to break fast. Like Hello? If I weren't fasting I could spare half and hour or so.

- Calling me at 6.50pm on my way hm to ask for this and that. Eh can gimme a break or not? 8 minutes away from azan. No wonder, I lost my appetite.

- I need this, I need that. Yah, I know you need it, so can you please ask those URGENT REQUESTS people to stop, so I can attend to your NEEDS.

- I come in FAR earlier than you. And I started work effectively and hour before you leh. So, DON'T BE BUSOK HATI ah, dengki orang balik siang, caaaaan?

- I cleared my URGENT things.

*takes deep breath*

This morning I feel like snapping a pic of a grp of secondary school boys smoking in their uniform. Normally I wouldn't give to flying fish to whatever they do but if one started blowing smoke circles and looks at you like as if the world belongs to them. Yeah, they DESERVE to be punished.

Sorry ah, a bit bad mood. I hate angry entries.

Smlm ader Gunawan, and he has 2 freaking moles on his eyebrow *squeeeeeeeeeeeeee*

We love our Cescy boy!

Another win in the champions league.
2nd header goal from Le Capitan in a week, supplied from new-found crossing talent of Eboue.
We lost ourselves a bit and the portuguese gained possesion and were showboating ard the arsenal penalty box between 15th -30th min.
RVP squandered a few close range effort BUT to be fair he did made some decent shots, looks a bit rusty and hmmm... lazy. Henry too.
Kolo shows what a formidable fortress he is with Gallas alongside, for once he didn't seem to need to cover for the rest too much, allowed to play his own game. Eboue making lesser of his boo boos.
A worrying fact for SendyLove (haih, biler kau nak balik nie, aku rindooo dgn dahi berkerot kau) and Djorou. I am beginning to accept Gallas as a gunner after that goal, I'm all for anyone who plays for the team :)

Rosicky is the new hero, looks slight yet not a pushover. hell no.

And Cesc is LOVE. He's long range drive now pack with power, he runs faster, he tackles, he shoots, he ONLY needs to score big crucial goals to complete to grow on the same stature as Zidane. no? I have no choice BUT to do my jiggy dance and singing " we love Cescy boy" with what could look like para para dance hand movement when he tackles. heh.

Was it worth it?

Congrats Hady!
Love that Sheila Majid rendition! Jonathan for being a worthy opponent.
I hear kids screaming hady' all over. Ok. Now its annoyin.

They call it J-O-Y.

Yeap.
More entries with pictures coming up.
Blogging nowadays has come with a new facet.
Hah. The joy of it.
The joy of blogging from phone and with an attached image.
*beware handphone bill*

Nope. no SMS/Call votes for Hady/Jon.

It's like a personal battle. And yes, I can keep my fangirlism in check. If I want to.
I just need to assure myself, you know. Yeah, cos I sense ppl sometimes thinks THAT IS ALL I AM CAPABLE ABOUT. FANGIRLS.

on snooze

Left work @ 11pm yesterday and now I'm back here since 4.30am.

-_-

Rushing... rushing.. and more rushing, yesterday was, I believe a perfect epitomy of "whatever can go wrong will go wrong". As if it wasn't bad enough some printers are acting up on the eleventh hour, my PC needs a good 20 mins with each page before it send out my huge ass file to the printer. And more cutting and mounting to do. And waiting for that 10 pages to print. And with a queue of ppl looking for me, which made my exasperated colleague telling all those who were looking for me, to NOT look for me, as I was running all over the place, with cold sweats.

I hate the sudden frenzy of having to be at 10 places at the same time.
Maybe I should make ppl call me by my full name. That way since its mouthful maybe it will deter them from calling me out my name outta convenience. Kadang2 bukan aku nyer pasal, aku jugaaaaaak yg diorang carik.

And rushing for 5.00am dateline as I die die must send out my mockup by then.

I hope today will be a better day.
It better be.

For now, I need a short nap.

Tuesday, September 19, 2006

Barfed up.

I must have vomitted bucketloads of bile juice.
My head all spinning and all the nauseous pangs.

Haiyah, and it HAS to happen when I have loads to do. Like a LOT to do.
Please let me go through this day unscathed.

We won over the weekend.
A loooong state of euphoria and savouring the win.
Good game with few heartstopping Lehmann's antics, but I'm happy with all 'cept Gilbs, not because he missed the penalty but because of the blatant careless passing and clumsy tackles.

Cesc was having a good day, terrorising and standing up to Scholesy.
And that awesome skipped ard the Manyoo defence that leads to Ade goal was priceless.
It lifted my spirits to the 12th floor despite the gloomy monday looming in.

To Shidah: have a smooth and safe delivery yah.

and so it is.

Repercussions of the worst kind.
Happy memories u tried to forget stumble before your eyes.

It ain't easy to move on, aye?

I need time to sort my thoughts,
I don't believe in pretentious truce.

And for fucksakes, I don't kick people out of my life.
I don't. *yeah yeah, I do have that occasional mood swings and habitual IGNORE everyone, but I normally revert to my lively and dandy self in no time. Heyyyyy, everyone needs their PERSONAL space*
I just STOPPED kissing their asses and be at the back of their calling. Can?

But I surely adore the antartica/penguins series he did a while back. I love that one so much that I haaaad to catch the re-runs.

I think my Dad would be surprised since he has always been a fan of Mr Irwin.

Just shooooooot.

We were too afraid to shoot, such a frustrating game to watch. With Adebayor squandering half the chances and Eboue whose shot at goal, albeit on target, he shoots like a sissy. A bunch of senior players obviously passengers in the game. What was Gilbs doing maaaaaaaaan? gets the ball and pass? heh. not just any pass, his passes were always either too long or too short, thus his team mates had take the extra effort retrieving the ball, tracking back and recovering their balance.

Despite the draw and inability to be clinical.
Fabregas is always a joyyyyyy to watch (footballing et physical), he seems to zip around faster and he looks beefed up enough to compete in terms of physical challenges. Fabregas wooooooo ahhhhhhh!
Walcott looks great on his debut, quite an impact from a 17 year old kid. Started out on a right note, wih an assist of a cross (cushioned by RVP's slight head) to the edge of the goal mouth.

Such talent.

I even forgot to eat my ice cream during the game.

On another note,
I had a quiet birthday, spent the sunday lazing around at home. And further lazing around at Yanni's, DVDs and more DVDs. Thank you for the cab fare, you know how my heart bleeds when I need to take a cab but let's not make this a habit lah hor.

I finally had my hands on the remaining Ouran High School Host Club Manga. Many2 thanks again to Yanni & Azmi * satisfied grins*, the best part of requesting your own present, is you relish the present so much that you can't wait to be home to devour it. I ended up reading it in the cab, with my handphone backlight.

But I'm short of vol.2, who shall do the honour? tsk tsk shameless.

Have a better Monday ya.

*I know mine would be horrible, cause the bitch grand dame just ask me to do the impossible* *sigh*

Milo & Horlicks.

It is unbearable :/..... 30 hrs and 26mins to go.

I got 2 cakes this year.

Milo and Horlicks flavoured & Vanilla & Chocolate flavoured.

Psssst.... it's ice cream cake!!!!!!!!!!!

What can be more blissful than watching 11 of your favourite men running after a ball and scoring a handful goals whilst enjoying good foooooood?

34 hrs and 43 mins... counting

This year, I'll get a fitting present of watching Arsenal a day before.
If they win, I can pretend that they win it for MEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
I can write a letter to Fabregas thanking him for scoring that fantastic goal and insert my Patrick Starfish pose picture with caption "you make me feel like doing this whenever you score" *thank Kay for coming up with the caption*.

Let's not worry so much abt the outcome, cos I know I will enjoy myself watching my gunners (Flamini!) doing their thang, while savouring all sorts of ice cream. Yummeh!

Flying Start, ey?

Flying habis..

Stop that raving for winning 4-0 over Greece...
What's the point of it when the World Cup is overrrrrr. hahahaha

2 more days *dances*

Btw, something that makes me chuckle this morning,

"You want great shopping? Go to Singapore.
You want beautiful beaches? Go to Malaysia.
You want Buddhist temples? Go to Myanmar.
You want exotic hill tribes? Go to Laos.
You want untouched islands? Go to the Phillipines.
You want cheap pirated DVDs? Go to Vietnam.
You want drugs, guns, and child prostitutes? Go to Cambodia.
But for God's sake, don't go to Thailand. There's just no need."

That pin point final pass.

~The 19-year-old Spaniard has now taken on the former skipper's number as well as his mantle at the centre of midfield.
Yet despite all the deserved plaudits, Fabregas is determined not to get carried away in the hype.
"Everything in my life has gone so quickly since I was 15 and I came here - sometimes you do not realise what you are achieving," he said.
"So this season it will be very important to calm down a little bit, to realise what I am doing - but also giving everything for the team because I think this team can do a lot of good things." ~

hah..media savvy for a 19 year old.

oh please make the weekend comes faster....

Plan Carefully.

Notch up my sensitivity meter.

I think I should STOP telling my mom or dad what I'm planning to buy.
I really should STOP excessive whining.

Yeay!
I'm only 1 book short of collecting the Ouran series (yeah Isz, way to go, count ur chicks before they hatch!), as of now lah, the series is still on going.

Will probably let myself go into hibernating period till end of the month although kakis are welcome to chill at my place.

I am going to paint my room next mth! I hope the colours I chose are not too girly/faggoty, cos it's gonna be in PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENK~!

heh.

Rectum flavoured.

I think it's best when we make sacrifices for ppl, we do it in a state of ikhlas. Otherwise we would be digging up dusty old favours and when they couldn't reciprocate. You'll end up harbouring that "how could you?" sad mentality.

And it's really hard NOT to get sad. And all this while, I thought I was being 'ikhlas' enough but apparently not.

I was half expecting that THEY could do the same for me, in fact much less than what I did for THEM. And all I hear is a very long "alaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh".

As much as I tried convincing myself not to rake up the past,
my mind went on overdrive picking out my past helps/favours and what nots.

I know this is bad and it only showcases my selfish self. Yeah in fact, I am no saint and I haven't reach the height of super selfless being yet. (but we all are working towards that... aren't we?)

And I came to a conclusion, after my incoherent ramblings.
That being NICE, aren't that great after all, as they say "Nice guys finish last" and so it applies to generous ppl too.

I'm so fed up being the rear-end receiver lah.

Disclaimer: No. I'm not ranting about donations here...

Isz taken for a ride.

I've just got back from buying some photo shoot props @ IMM.
Decided to meet up with Toots for dinner, as I was too tired/lazy to make the labourous walk down to Jurong East MRT. I decided to take a cab.

A whopping $8.10 to Yew Tee MRT station!

The last time I took a cab from IMM with kakak Yanni, it was $8.90 and it was to WOODLANDS.
During the ride, I noticed that cabbie purposely chooses routes that has loads of traffic lights and weaving his way in and out of Bukit Batok, Bkt Gombak and Choa Chu Kang. Can you believe it?

The blardey meter was at 4 freaking dollars and we are still somewhere in Jurong.

It was partly my fault for not stating which way I wanna go initially and I was too hungry to complain. My tum tum was rumbling and I wouldn't want a cabbie spewing vulgarities.

BUT

It was worth it.
Cos I get to meet Tooty and we had a lot of catching up to do.
Checking out her wedding preps and all. It was fun as always when we meet up.

The Small Peeps gets a called up for Project TBD. heh.

Reporting for mission, Ma'am!

World Cup ends.

This means no more of 20++ pages on World Cup in The New Paper, trivial write ups on young players and I'll be 70 cents richer almost every single day! Hurrah!

After missing a hell lot of the World Cup semis, quarters, I finally stayed up for the FINAL.
Only to fell asleep on the 78th minute, which I have a strong feeling that it would be a draw game and stretches to extra time or even penalty.

I wanted France to win, solely because our lone gunner is playing for it and was wishing for a perfecto swansong for Zizou. Although, everytime the camera cuts to Domenech, I would start wishing for the Italians to win!

Oh well, at least Italy won it instead of Mighty Braseeeel *yawns*.
I wanted to laugh out loud to those ppl who predicted "Brazil" will win before the tournament.

Coming of... age?

Chuckled at myself while browsing for trinkets.

It takes me 22 yrs (almost 23 yrs)
- To bother asking about cosmetics.
- To carefully choose a ladies shoe, like try on 18126469 pair of pumps/wedges/u-name-it before choosing one, I normally need to try only 1 or 3 max to buy a pair. hahaha. efficient shopper..
- To put on a lipgloss and not get disgusted by it, I somehow forgotten about the fishscales thingamajig and still leave it on eventho' feeling uncomfortable.
- Choosing a handbag/clutchbag/wristlet ><" for myself, which I've never done before!
- Religiously buffering my toenails. haha.

I got bitten by the vanity bug and I'm loving it!
A bit late lah, but better late than never.

Now, shoo-away, I've got some shopping to do.

Look, what have you done?

One of the special things about World Cup is you'll get to see big grown men CRY.
The dejected looks, and that lost-in-space faces. As Kay noted, it's OK (manly, weih!) to cry for football. Really.
I always do. heh. Only when it concerns the Gunners. Must work on 'loving' Germany, cos I don't like (hate/abhor/detest) the other 7 (not on footballing terms, but more of my own cocked-up principle and personal terms)

This morning, the floodgates burst (sikit je lah), when Kay showed me this:

*cries some more*
Technically, this dude is still a boy. heh. My heart bleeds for him, sedih siot muker!

Pre-match conference *tgh happy2*

*bawling on the floor*
I would be gutted too, if I were in their shoes.
Kay, sekiranya I didn't 'see' you for the next few days.
Happy 22nd Birthday ye!! ( I wanted to wish you just now, luper!)

Mistaken Identity Ver. 1507

Another few of my many pelanduk dua serupa incidents.

- This happens a few weeks back, while I was waiting for Kakak Yanni @ Bugis when she went to the ladies. A mother and daughter, were heard conversing, mother to daughter(of about 4 or 5 yrs old), "Isn't that ur teacher?". The next moment, I saw two expectant looking faces, armed with a ready smile, smiling at me, standing in front of me. To which the young one turning to her mom "No. that's not my teacher". heh.

Did I tell you I got mistaken as a teacher so many2 times, although in actual fact I'm far from it. hah.

- Once, my leg was grabbed by a toddler, to which I believe a relative of his, called out to him "eheh, salah org laaaah, itu bukan your mummy". Isk. Imagine, alangkah terkejot nyer aku, biler dier grabbed kaki aku full force. heh. He looked up, took a step back and ran towards this relative of his. Nasib baik tak nangis.

- My bro was in the ferry back from Tekong when he was approached by this superior,
Stranger: eh kau ader kakak eh?
Baby Armadillo: aaaaah
Stranger: kakak kau umor berapa? Tua berapa tahun dari kau?
Baby Armadillo: Aaaaah, 3 tahun lagi tua.
Stranger: Nama kakak kau, Mariam eh?
Baby Armadillo: Tak ah.

Somewhere out there a certain Mariam's brother must have looked like my own Baby Armadillo.

- This happens when I was stationed at one of trade booths for my co. as a company photographer, I was pat on the back by this tudong gal, "eh you pon ada pat sini! My booth is upfront tau, see you around ok!". Erm, I've never seen her before, although, i did muster a nervous smile. Ain't too sure if she realises she got the wrong person. heh.

Choco Elixir.

Sometimes, part of me secretly wishes that I am the one born with the dick, so if I decided to do anything reckless and give my parents a slip, they won't flip as much or get fits from worrying.

For the past 27 hrs...

We left him at Tanjong Tekong.
That's his idea of a joke, coming up with ridiculous names.
And he still has not made a single call back home.
Mom is very upset, that he never calls home, she was mopping ard the house this morning.
Saying she misses her son. :
Blame it on he's stubborn refusal to bring his mobilephone. I think he's had enough of the last missing handphone episode.

None of that daily routine 3pm call from him today,
asking "kakak, baba/mama tanya nak makan apa?", "kakak, balik kul brapa??", "kakak, nampak cokelat/handphone charger/ kunci adek, tak?and "kakak, nak kiter amek balik keje?"

I even decided to forego watching Espana and young catalunya porcupine at 3am this morning.

And I lulled myself to sleep last night, singing:
"You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine,
you make me happy when skies are grey,
you never know dear,
how much i love you,
please don't take my sunshine away"

Please make this week pass by faster.
And come back quick, you, Baby Armadillo.
I miss thumb wrestling. :S

Ah pening ah.

Michael Kors Or DicKNeY?

Selalu kau di dalam hatiku.

The World Cup has just started yet I can't wait for the new EPL season to commence.

I want to see those wonderful strikes from TOMAS ROSICKY in arsenal's jersey.
He blew me away.

I hate the socceroos, I think they totally destroyed the spirit of the game with that thuggish display. And the referee is not much help either. *sigh*

Rooney is back after injuring Theo Walcott in training.
How generous.
The best part is, he tackled Theo from behind and injure the young lad's calf.
Surely, tackle from behind is ILLEGAL in footballing terms, but why do it in training and risking losing another offensive player. And he gets AWAY WITH IT, simply with support of others, claiming he was passionate about the game. Passionate my ass lah, there is a line between passionate and bullying. What bollocks.

Despite my support for Ingerrrrland (well, u watch their league every single week, you can't help supporting familiar faces, even if they are OVER-RATED), I now want them out by group stages, better still with Rooney playing for the 2 remaining matches. Nevermind that we will risk reading write-ups of "why England lose out in Germany 2006?" for the next 185792475 years. I rather have that than seeing an ogre holding the coveted trophy.

Congrats to our very own Shamsul Maidin.
Even if we can't get our Lions, Young Lions, Baby Lions? in the World Cup.
We are just glad we have a world class referee in our midst.
Singapore's Pride *grins with pride*.
We were deeply impressed by your performance in the Sweden vs T&T game.

Next up, Switzerland vs France.
Kekasih Beaveeeeerrrrr ku yg penuh bijaksana. heh.
It starts at 12am tmr, will skip Korea Republic vs Togo (Gd Luck Adebayor!).

Anti - Gravity Love song.

Contrary to popular beliefs of my fear for jumping.
Let me reiterate, I have never feared of jumping. I may have 1001 phobias but jumping is fortunately not one of them. I am a jumpy kid by nature.
Th reason for my reluctance to jump is mainly due to the worry if the creaking wooden floors couldn't withstand my body mass. I definitely do not fancy ending up in a Luo Hans' aquarium downstairs.

And due to my massive weight, I cant jump as high and land slower than most of you. :That's why my foot is always seen on the ground despite jumping. ahakhak.

Next time we do a solidground photoshoot, I'll show you my jumps and maybe a cartwheel or two. :D

Oh hey, it's coming.

A couple of World Cup adverts came on in between the England vs Uruguay friendly repeat.
Reminisced back to the previous tournaments, I always liked World Cup 98 most, amongst the recent 90(s) to the 2002 Japan/Korea WC. Partly, because of a certain number 11 then in the France squad but it was all the way Oranjes for me in that world cup, was terribly upset when they eventually lose. I was in Malacca, watching Argentina battling out Netherlands. We scream ourselves hoarse when the Oranjes got through. I thought that was the best World Cup match(in my time) ever.

I also remembered how I supported team Romania too. I thought they were fantastic until the entire squad go blonde :\. Dan Petrescu is a dead ringer for David Duchovny ok.

We were rooting for France in the final because the sheer thought of Brazil monopolying the World Cup tournaments was just too nauseating especially when they have loads of dubious referee decisions that goes their way in every World Cup tournament. Granted, they are one helluva team but we do want to see other colours winning the world cup now and then. Takkan nak tgk Yellow jersey dgn blue shorts aje kaaaaaan.

Let's hope this year's WC would be an exciting one, unlike Korea/Japan yg OH-SO-PREDICTABLE with Brazil winning it and with not much contention.

Btw, YOU GURLS ROCK ok!
And with that, I leave you with :-

Utterly disgusted.

If you can't empathise with what happened in Yogjakarta.
It's OK, suit yourself.
Just don't forget that whatever happens to them, can happen to you too.
We are afterall neighbours.
Don't go around babbling like a complete airhead, they deserve it.
Don't add salt to their wounds by saying, they deserve it because of the high amount of corruption, vices etc. in their country. Unless you can gurantee that wherever you are the place is practically sin-free ok, then you go ahead.

Don't go, they deserve it, but when it comes to us, it's musibah.
That holier than thou syndrome.
NO. it does not work that way ok.

/I feel like smacking some ppl on their old heads, irregardless of pakciks/makciks/datuks/neneks/noyangs/jujuks to knock some senses.

Gone.

He left to be with the Yellow Submarine.

I will miss the screeching halt tentative runs, that severus snape's locks, that gigi lapis, that telepathy passes with Thierry, that brazillian wax goatee, the brilliant GOALS, more than brilliant assists and most importantly the creative dimension he provides when he plays.

Probably, I still get to see him, now and then.

But I'll miss him as a gunner.

I did not foresee it will hurt me that much that he is leaving, but it did. He's departure left a void in me, he is after all one of the MAIN reasons I love being a gooner.
I have to deal with the fact that my favourite number jersey*not because he is wearing the no.* is going to be adorned by someone else.

Now, I gotta change my passwords. tsk.. tsk...

/Kay beat me to writing a sappy entry about his departure.
Which is really moooving. Pires not only leaves us with wonderful footballing memories at highbury. He also make me found my favourite Goonerette. ;)

Dodol betol lah aku nie.

Must start re-naming the names on my handphone.

Crestfallen.

Aftermath of Champions League Final:
(in sequential order)
- Urgent half day leave.
- Pointless MRT rides.
- The Da Vinci Code.
- Watching repeats of the match, study each and every player expressions whilst drinking what i believe truckloads of coffee.
- Goes to sleep with sad sad feeling in my tum tum.

( I am sadomasochist like that.)

I think, I'm OK now. At least I stopped wearing that grouchy moody expression anymore.
Oh well, shit happens and we got to move on.
BUT we will be back. STRONGER.

Come on you gunners.

/looks at Aisyah's picture in her gooner garb. *smiles*

CL aside, I love Paul as Silas. wooohooooo! And Mackellen, gd stuff old boy! I wich I could write MORE but I will not spoil it for anyone yet.

STAWP!

You win football from the pitch not from newspaper, internet and radio.
I wish more ppl have known that

Glimmer of Catalunya Porcupine.

"Are they beatable? Of course, otherwise there is no point playing. They are a great team and they have shown that in the last two years. But we've gone through against Madrid and Juventus when we were not the favourites."

For those of us(Gooners) who are having messed up doubts in our brain.
Take it from a 19 year old y'all.

/Go away you "Ronaldinho is a Genius" thoughts... shooo shoo...
We have Cesc and Titi.

Rodrigo SantoroK

Finally watched Behind The Sun fully.
No 10 mins naps in btwn, no wandered concentration.
1 and a half hrs uninterrupted.

And I loved it!
I love the way Pacu reads, the innocence in oblivion.

The only thing, that bugs me was how could an impoverished young man woke up to a gorgoeus hairdo.

/I'm having bad menstrual cramps (or issit PMS?) and stoopid photography later.
Wish me luck :/

Drive me insane.

In view of stressful times ahead.
I shall throw myself @ work.
No exactly happy week, because i will hv 2 full fledged photography shoots happening in a week.
Merde!
I shall throw myself at wherever possible.
I hopw i don't tire myself too much for Thurs morning.
Must avoid soccernet to prevent myself from reading those ultra confident remarks.

Welcome.

In addition to Isz's Animal World, Yanni is known as the SKINNY CAPYBARA.
Damn Cute Ok! And her boyfriend the TURTLE.

Anybody wants a pet name?
I'm good at this.

Oh Baby Walrus is now known as Baby Armadillo. He alwayssss wanted to be Armadillo lah, or so he says. :)

Me and Porcupines.

Yesterday, four of us sat on my bed and we talked about the impending match between Arsenal and Barcelona till the wee hours. Actually Mama Mammoth was reading the papers, the rest of us were busy discussing about Arsenal chances in the CL finals.

I will miss Baby Walrus when he goes for NS. No one to accompany me for my late night soccer matches, worst, he will be enlisted during the WC period. I can't count on Daddy MouseDeer to stay up with me unless its the FINAL or its a weekend.

Fyi, I am LITTLE PORCUPINE.

/shud see Baby Walrus face when I told them, I AM LITTLE PORCUPINE. With incredulous look on his face "Little eh?!!"

Monday, May 08, 2006

Thank you, Hammers

Nevermind that Alan Pardew blasts Arsene for his lack of englishman team.

They beat Spurs to keep us in the 4th place.

Shall return the favour and root for them in the FA Cup Final.

We did well, Thierry did a hat-trick, Pires stab a goal. I was hoping Bergy or RVP puts in one or two more and Cesc's header went in.

We are leaving HIGHBURY.

Pires will leave to not-sure-where-yet.

Bergy will hang up his boots for good, can't wait for the testimonial match @ Emirates Stadium.

Gd bye, Nigel the squirrel.

Kay must be super ecstatic at highbury now. I hope hope hope, she snaps gd pics to show off and manage to get pic taken with any of beloved Gunners.

I am super relieved ok.

4th place, at least a lil pressure eases off the young ones shoulders..

Have a gd game on the 17th, u boys.
No, make that a fantastic game. Awesome game. WTF? Just win it!

Oh man, I really feel the need to be in Paris on the 17th.

Thanks to Yanni and Yati for taking my mind off arsenal for a while.
I knew if I were to stay at home, I'll be a nervous wreck for the entire day waiting for 9.55pm.
I had fun looking at many many flowers of many many colours.
And PINK/RED/PINK and more PINK. :)

Shoeless.

I foresee 2 very happy ladies come 14th of May. One in Woodlands and the other in Bukit Panjang.

After much persuasion, I gave in and broke a tiny portion of the bank. I felt generous yesterday, and i hope I can feel that way for the rest of the month.

BUT. *looks on in horror*

My trusty VANS, which has been a faithful shoe withstanding all kinds of pressure, from workload, random kickabouts, 2 years without any washing, to my super heavy weight decides to take a crumble.
It's blardey disintegrating.

MY VANS IS FALLING APART!!

Now.. now
How am I suppose to go to work wihout my workshoes?

Pires.

Kehadiran membawa seribu erti ( It was pre World Cup 98 - Metz)
Terasa bagaikan suatu mimpi (The day he moved to Arsenal from Marseille)
Indah mahligai yang kita bina (Emirates Stadium? Invincibles?.. ha ha)
Impian kini terlaksana sudah (On the verge maybe, CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL!)

Tiada ku terlintas akan terjadi (What! You are moving to Villareal? Benfica?)
Kita kan terpisah jua akhirnya (I suppose it's time to go, Pruny Bob)
Sejenak ku terfikir segala (Woah! That Aston Villa Goal will be tattooed in my mind!)
Oh keindahan bersamamu( 1 ) (Hell yeah, I'll miss the ducky runs, and the vibrating mouth thingy you always do when you fluff your chances)

Kembalilah kasih kepada diriku (How to? when you always slips back to your lackadaisacal self every 2 or 3 games)
Hidupku sepi tanpa kehadiranmu (hmmm, but there's Fabregas, Senderos...Walcott etc. now)
Dengar rayuanku jeritan batinku (Did you ever care you look like Severus Snape with ur berminyak locks? or when i scream at you to 'SHHOOOOOTTTT!')
Masih dahagakan kemesraanmu (oh well, sometimes you are inspirational)
Hanya kau yang ku cinta tiada kedua (There's definitely keempat, kelima, keenam...)
Usah biar ku menderita (yeah, as long as Arsenal doesnt meet Villareal ever)

Setelah kau pergi tiada kembali (You'll be too old for the youthful Arsenal squad lah dey!)
Pilunya tak dapat ku menggambarkan (Ermm I'm sure the young guns boleh mengubati itu semua. Terima Kasih)
Abadi kasihku yang amat suci (Robert Emmanuel Pires 7 heh.)
Biarku yang dalam kegelapan (Emirates Stadium got bright floodlights? no?)

Fyi. Ini lagu Hasnol - Laguku Untukmu.
Before any of you render me hopeless, pining for unattainable Old Bobby 7.
I like to make myself clear, I'm not mad yet.
My feet is still stuck concretised within this ground we walk on.
Neither am I feeling anything like the lyrics (why so defensive, isz?)

I needed something to make me happy on a grey evening.
And that, makes me happy. haha.

Grey sky

Its raining now, with lightnings and thunderstorm.
The sky is grey, as grey as 70% black on Freehand.

It's 5.30pm. Half an hour to knock off.
Not that I'm knocking off any soon.

I'm nursing a flu.
And a major headache. I'm not EMO but just burn out.
I have to work over this long weekend :(

St. Lehmann's Day.*

*Kay, pinjam title eh.

We are through to the FINAL of CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.

Eventhough, it was a poor showing, with string of passes that doesnt meet.

And Villareal literally HUGGING our offensive players whenever we look like we are on a break, fouling like mad and got away with it.

It's down to Jens to save a what could be tide-turning penalty, and he did it.

Do not brush off my worries with "ha ha ha" because it is not funny at all.

Say something, to make me see the bigger picture and not some half baked theories.

I want to know why.

Why?

Don't spit to the sky.

"I am sad to see Lyon out of the Champions League," said Pires. "They were well prepared for this competition. Lyon were better than Milan, but Milan's experience made the difference. Now, French Arsenal players represent French soccer. French fans can trust in us to win the Champions League."

mak cow.. WORLD sak si Pires nie.

Dishevelled.

I don't understand why they have to launch several products @ ONE GO.
Soft Launch.. Hard Launch... Kepala Otak kau peh launch lah.
Yg buat aku bingit, semua nie berlaku dalam saat-saat yg terakhir.
DALAM MINGGU YG PENDEK NIE!

I feel so tempted to leave this hellhole and head home to Hidden Seals Of Siberia on NatGeo.
They are screening Gospel Of Judas today, but I'll skip that, so that I can have earlier night to watch 2nd half of My Gunners and Pompey battling it out.

Arsenal, Cinderella of Premiership.

My Gunners just got into ANOTHER defeat by ManShitUSA.
Phillipe was fantastic, my heart goes out to him for his defending brilliance. (I used to refrain from praising this dude BUT he was exceptional today.)
Despite, the disappointing result, am very glad with our performance.
For playing football, the way it should be.

I just hope we are not MENTALLY bruised from this aftermath.

COME ON YOU GUNNERS!

Kudos to Chelsea for winning their match. Wonderful comeback act.

I finally caught NARCO: The Secret Adventures of Gustav Klopp.
After months of waiting.
Disturbingly funny and they have those wonderful 'transitional' shots which is NICE.
I don't mind watching it again.
GUILLAME CANET!

Maybe, I was too happy watching Guillame that I decided to take bus home.
I missed long bus rides.
So I walked from The Cathay to Chijmes.
Bad move because I was alone AND I had to pass by already dark Sg Art Museum walkway as it was close to eleven. And it was eerie.
960 took a very longg time and I reached home after 12, which I continue to more Guillame Canet, with "Love me if you dare".

Battered and Bruised.

My self esteem took a brutal bashing on Sunday morning.

It's funny how a sentence can make you feel like you are the world's biggest loser.

Maybe I am one.

Sorry for that indifference in me.

I'm sick of putting on my happy facade.

Yeay!

We won the first leg! I'm just thankful for that!

And Porcupine scores!!!!!!

Aisyah,
ask mummy to let you wear your Gunner's romper ok.

*2nd-leg-pre-match-stress-starts-now*

Found this pre-match write up:
Patrick Vieira’s presence adds spice to the occasion but Cesc Fàbregas must not attempt to be the new Vieira. He has different qualities. Outmuscling the former Arsenal man is not an option, so he needs to be cuter. Make Vieira and his midfield partner, Emerson, chase the ball. Flick it past them, force them to track back.

Hahah. What a way to describe sia, cuter. Makes me laugh. And Cesc did just that too. I mean not for looking cute only, but imposing that tactic too.

[Edit]

Post-match write ups: -

Vieira was a mighty warrior during his nine years at Highbury, although on this evidence Wenger may have correctly identified a waning in his physical prowess. How else to explain his felling by Robert Pires, a former team-mate usually so timid that he seems scared of his own shadow? Pires’s uncharacteristic discovery of some fighting spirit summed up Arsenal’s performance. After instigating many of their best early moves, the Frenchman found the courage to launch a sliding tackle on Vieira in the 40th minute, winning the ball to send Henry on his way. His pace took him to the edge of the visiting team’s penalty area, where he found Fàbregas, whose calm right-footed finish beat Buffon.

Anyone doubting Arsenal’s determination only had to watch Robert Pires beat Vieira in the air early on. It was the highest the effete winger has leapt since his infamous dive against Portsmouth in the season of the Invincibles. If it seemed a one-off victory for flyweight against heavyweight, it was to be repeated to sensational effect in the build-up to Fàbregas’s first-half goal.

Touré’s clean steal of the ball was a perfect challenge — and one to deprive Zlatan Ibrahimovic early in the second half was even more finely judged — but Pires, of all people, was to surpass it.

LOL!

[re-edit]

More write ups (post match) :-

Even Robert Pires, who would normally struggle to tackle a petit fours, flew into challenges on Vieira. The thought must briefly have passed through troubled Italian minds: had they plucked the wrong French ball-winner from Highbury? "Welcome Home Patrick - Toujours the Fantastique 4" read one banner on the North Bank. Nobody had bothered to add anything about Pires tackling him.

LMAO!

I've vomitted my yesterday's dinner and today's lunch.

Abstinence.

Damn proud of myself today OK!

Was wandering around on my own @ Kino just now.
I wanted to purchase the sequel of a funny book I had finished reading.
Bought the book and left the place unscathed.
There were some unnecessary spending close call tho'.
Thanks to the head bump accident on one of the bookshelves (which gives out a loud 'thud' and had some gal smiling@ me while I try to act unaffected by it) I was brought back to earth and sunk in to reality that I cannot go mental and start to blew off hundreds of dollars on books and a globe.

I stayed up soo late to watch Arsenal, but the game was postponed due to waterlogged pitch @ Fratton Park. Luckily, there's midweek Champs League match *argh!Pre-big-match-stress-starts-now*

I get to watch Phil Neville score an own goal instead.

Around the world in 80 days.

I had a looooong phone chat with Nisa yesterday.
She had her damn old skool World Atlas (back when Russia is part of U.S.S.R and East Germany still existed!) with her and we just pick any place in the world at random.
'Where would be fun to visit' kinda things, basically geography talk.

And she told me Arctic is wayyyy up there and Antartica is wayyyyyyy down there. (That one, I know!) Antartica is the one with land, not just floating icebergs like Arctic and it is nearer to Australia than the UK. ahakhakhak.
Antartica has penguins and Arctic (or rather, places near it) has Polar Bears.

Interesting right? no?

Nisa is going Vietnam soon, which initially I wanted to tag along but the lack of Halal food is such a drawback.

And Yanni is going Bali and I cannot tag along unless I want to become a tree.

So fun ah.

And Tuty, I'm terribly sorry for that fallen apart travelling plans, we can have loads of movie marathons to make up for that overseas trip ok. *hugs*

If Van Basten is your seksayyyy beast, than Bierhoff is my version of it. He reminds me of that dude in American Ninja.. *drools*

Sneaky.

I received a friendster's msg, from a LONG LOST FRIEND she says.
The truth is, it is not a LONG LOST FRIEND, it's more like I-DO-NOT-WANT-TO-BE-YOUR-FRIEND-ANYMORE-HENCE-I-NVR-PICK-YOUR-CALLS-OR-ANY-FORM-OF-COMMUNICATION-WITH-YOU-BUT-NOW-I-SUDDENLY-FEEL-LIKE-BEING-YOUR-FRIEND-AGAIN!

Hello, friendster has been around for gazillion years and I bet you are the first few ppl who knew why I spelt my name that way and ONLY NOW YOU FOUND ME? *ptui*
Yeah, like I was born an hr ago. I have always been HERE. My phone number has never CHANGED lah. Pretty silly if you tell me you forgot my number, when we used to talk to each other almost every day.

Wait, why am I so angry?
Anyway, me being me. And I'm feeling oh-so-generous today, replied her, like any civilised ppl would. With grace and no act of malice or contempt.

OMG! This is truly a bad case of masok bakol angkat sendiri.

In recent days, I have been a good girl.
I have been returning home promptly after work.
Let's see if I can survive till end of the month being a homely person.

Black cat

A little somthing while I wait for my mail to be send over.

I seriously need to relocate my PC to a more conducive/comfortable workstation.
As of now, the pain on back and neck is U-N-B-E-A-R-A-B-L-E. *clutches back*
MY butt is numb and I'm at risk of losing it to frostbite.

I need to upgrade my PC RAM, last I check its 256, DAMN SLOW OK!

I need to clean up my pig sty room.
Arrange my books properly and start searching for my new books, now hidden under piles of pillows and newspaper.

Last but not least, for my dear frens,
I think i scare the hell outta E.T. whenI drove them home from Geylang on saturday, according to my mom, she covered her eyes and keep on insisting for my dad to take over the wheels, while uttering prayers throughout the journey. Priceless *evil laffter

Adik Ku, Ahmad

Sorry if its all abt me cussing and swearing... but I cant help it.
Must be my angry week.

SOMEBODY STOLE MY BROTHER'S NEW HP!
My gift to him, for his birthday.
And it's only 2 mths OLD.

I am so furious, that if I ever manage to find the culprit I ripped his head off his body with my bare hands. Arrrrggh!!

I know, I know, it's ONLY HANDPHONE but it's my brother's.
My brother has got to be the nicest, kindest and the most careful person I ever known.
He takes care of his belongings well, unlike me, who always leave my things lying ard (I have tons of anecdotes abt this! Painful lessons from Nor, time and again!).
It's UNFAIR.

FUCK XABI ALONSO!

- For trying to hurt Adek Cesc (he's the future STAR OF SPAIN and your fellow country man, u mofo! What were u thinking?)

3 successive wins.
I missed the feeling of winning continuosly.

Senderos is improving. Yeay.
No heart-stopping moment in this game!

- Big thanks to Stevie G for adding a new dimension to our attack *Pats Stevie G on the back*

I think Luis Garcia's goal celebration is gross.

Hope nothing bad happen to Kolo.

Squabble a bit with the Dad due to his overly pessimistic outlook when Bergkamp comes on.
He sulked a bit and headed for bed before the match ended.

I am just glad we get that 3 points.

Naive

Was surfing ard, look @ what I found...

“Indie” isn’t a word handed down from God. You can’t bless yourself with that word, you can’t immerse yourself in the idea of indie and expect to be exempt from all contempt, artistic criticism, and “selling out”. It doesn’t make your art pure just because you have knighted yourself “anti-pop”.

- Jack White from The White Stripes hands out his own dose of “Sunscreen”.

LOL! "Dirrrrty Pop~"

Isolate me.

Aggrieved. Regret. Remorse.

This could have been avoided if I had not acted on impulse.

Those inept hurtful words onslaught had been done.

It must have hurt. A great deal.

I've gone too far off.

I think a SORRY would not suffice.

Or other words, for that matter.

I could not betray how I felt then.

I hope you understand.

You are and always my priority.

I love you, Mom.

Rejuvenated.

I think the endless supply of Pucuk Paku(s) and Pucuk Ubi(s) kinda raised several notches above my usual happy mood. And the ayam goreng*thumbs up*...THE WHOLE FOOD SCENE THERE is the WORKS lah dey! Well, I was in Padang (the PADANG where the nasi PADANG comes from) and Bukit Tinggi. Indonesia. We were practically hopping from one restaurant/foodstall to another, and guess what... just EATING NASI PADANG!! I kept myself busy attacking the pucuks (yes, I have this odd penchant for eating leaves. Even my nenek was amazed!) and belot - eel (welcome, extreme gourmet). I nearly tried this cow penis stuffed with tahu thingy, but I decided to play it safe. Stick to the pucuks, ppl and you'll never go wrong. I think I'm writing too much on them pucuks aye.. mcm kambing siak but I have to admit ah the food is one of the main highlights of this trip.

*slips into makcik2 mode*
For those of you looking for really nice fabrics for impending nikah/tunang.
This is THE PLACE lah. The laces, songket embroideries are GORGEOUS OK.
I even thought their embroidered telekong is baju pengantin ok, it's too pretty.
And guess what, I bought a GRAND TOTAL of ONE KAIN SONGKET. ahakahka.
Trust me to do that.. I never really shop, I was merely carrying stuffs for my nenek and my mom, and reminding them of the baggage limit. I'm still left with quite a substantial amount of $$ by end of the trip.

And the revelation of TV scene in INDONESIA.
Waaah best ah. Penuh dgn cewek2 dan cowok2 yg ganteng dan ayu.
There's even one that looks like Fabregas *squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*

Its my first trip on a budget airline, pretty hassle free and a bit like a bus ride.
And it's only an hr journey so... pretty good, albeit the stewardesses on our journey back were very unhelpful, one elderly atok was struggling with his luggage and NO ONE COMES TO HELP. tsk tsk...

Aging.

It has confirmed my suspicion.
Of looking OLDer than my actual age.

First, those makciks OLDer than my mom, insists on me calling them 'kakak'.
I obliged, naturally, because I am a peace person and would not do anything to cause any unhappiness. So Makciks are now known as Kakaks. *tak sedar diri betol, even if i DROPPED ATOMIC BOMB hints that my MOMMY is wayyyy YOUNGer than THEM, and I'm like 2 years older than their kids*

Secondly, I was called 'AUNTIE' by some skateboarding teens while accompanying Nor during her video filming. Of course, I was riled up and even scolded the kid..*poor kid*.
Auntie, what pictures are you taking??

Arrrrggh!!

Thirdly, this happened yesterday.
The best bud and I went down to Sembawang Satay Club to satisfy our satay cravings.
And Pakcik jual satay asks for my order, " yer, nak apa JAH?". Btw, this pakcik looks like he's older than my dad. Alahai pakcik, saya belom Hajjah lagi laaaaah...

My brain works overtime last night thinking about it and 'some other matters'.

That aside,
We had kickass Satay and Ice Lemon Tea!! We Drank like Camels *in my case, Baby Hippo* and Ate like a LION. Waaaah seyyy, we are on binge-till-you-can't weekend. *burp*

Oh yah, thanks for the Dapur Siam treat....

Blowing bubbles.

Am waiting for the 3.15am 21st Feb with much bated breath. I'm brimming with PMS.
I don't expect a win.
In fact, I don't want a win.
I don't want the GalacaTIKOS to put up a revenge-on-the-way act on the return.
A draw would suffice, with a dismal display from my side but I WANT TO SEE GOALS!
hell yeah! goals!! lots of them (2-2, perhaps?)...
Brilliance from RVP or (insert any other name but not Le Capitan).
I want the GalacaTIKOS to be buoyed with a huge sense of complacent... on the return.
I want them to feel they can beat the Gunners without even trying.

I expect Gunners to rise and shine in highbury.
Teams that play in their homeground on a 2nd leg (provided we don't lose 3-0 onwards in the first leg!) always looks good enuff to turn the table.

And then we beat them in highbury.
I want Reyes, RVP and Cesc run amok in Real's defence.
Catch them off guard.
I want that ScumBeck to look confuse.
I want that certain Robinho who snub us to feel sorry for snubbing us.

Beat them to heaps.
I want THAT.

I want them to cry.... muahakhakhakakahak..

Oh well, I can only HOPE we get something out of it and HOPE much harder for Monsieur Wenger to read this. heh.

Spare.

I know it's blasphemic to say this in footballing terms and especially if you're a gooner.

Kudos to Martin Jol for securing Danny Murphy into his team.
Murphy must have been English's(yes? no?) most under-rated midfielder.
Spurs looks like they can only get better.

On my side,
The Gooners just lost their right back, Ralph Lauren. (read: Catastophe in RED BOLD EXTRA LARGE letters)
Maybe, its time to field Theo as a left back/right back.

The Sun, The Sand and The Sea

It was a S.S.S. CNY getaway...
The best bud and I were down @ ECP for our laze ard afternoon.
We had enough of the concrete jungle, nasty fumes and crazy retail therapy.
Packed ourselves with the essentials, errr we actually SHOP (ahah! retail therapy!) for the essentials at Parkway Parade. Kickass meals at hawker center nearby and armed with trusty VITTEL we walk down to ECP, to enjoy our afternoon reading (heh, mcm kat rumah tak boleh baca buku), get ourselves amused with best bud's toy heli (Apache siol!) and loads of camwhoring... and sleep lah.

The next 2 days , i was over in PeeDee (Port Dickson), thanks to the Dad impromptu suggestion.
Most hotels were fully booked but we did get one *phew!*. Alhamdullilah, if not we would have to bunk in the car. I missed plonking myself like a baby hippo in the blue sea, drinking and breathing seawater. A jetski ride to top it all. The food were good too... kickass rendang and seafood!

My first drive on M'sian HIGHway *its a BLARDEY HIGHwayyyyyyy*... a full hour drive. Ok lah.. aku terabit carried away*jakon lah tu* cos i have'nt even go on EXPRESSway yet. ahakahkahk.

Questions to answer.

Kudos to this Joel for penning hit the nail analysis. I couldnt AGREE MORE!

I was surprised by how emotionlessly I watched the game. It was clear 10 minutes into the game that some old Arsenal errors were going to come up and that Wenger would not react to it. It was prepared for the same old frustration, so I switched off my emotions.' (Whoa, spot on. I'm getting good at this!)

I am not a fan of Mourinho or Ferguson, but when I watch Arsenal sometimes and see Henry, Píres and Campbell pottering around on the pitch for 45 minutes as if they aren't bothered, I really wish they would be heading to Ferguson's or Mourinho's dressing room instead of Wenger's at half time to get a good talking to. ( I think Pires's long Severus-Snape like locks would do some good with the 'hairdryer treatment)

Fabregas is a junior player at Arsenal who cannot shout at Henry or anyone else when they do something wrong on the pitch. He desperately wants to but he can't yet. So he takes his frustration out on the opposition, this is not the first time he has got in a fight with the opposition. It was only a matter of time before he got sent off when Arsenal are losing. It happened at Everton because his team mates frustrated him. (Poor Adek Cesc kaaaan!)

Píres, Campbell and Henry wouldn't run as much Fabregas and Reyes do. Freddie started running and working but his skill is not back yet. Reyes, Fabregas Flamini, Lauren, Sanderos, etc. have to run and fight every ball in order to get a game the next time. It is frustrating to them because Píres, Campbell, Henry don't have to work to get a game.

Henry would do well to look at Reyes, Rooney and Ronaldinho. They all work very hard. Man Utd won at Liverpool without a midfield or a decent defence. The reason why is because they play 5-5-3. Doesn't add up? Well that's because Rooney plays in defence, in midfield and in attack at the same time. Reyes tries the same for Arsenal. Ronaldinho does the same for Barcelona. These players are worth £30million every day. Henry is worth something once a month – it's not good enough! (Precisely!)

I had a loong chat with my bestie yesterday,
I was torn.. but she set the record straight and I have to live with the fact.
Many thanks to her for listening to me and giving me a solution, eventho' she's just back from work and all.
I know I can always depend on her.

NOT AT FAULT.

My brain tells me I am not at fault but why am I being so fucking apologetic?

Quoted from Glen Ong: What was that man? 90th min? That's SUAY!

Just how many POOR DECISIONS they can make on the offside rule in a game.

Thank you SendyLove, for being patrick.

I don't blame them really, we were pretty stretched back there but its the BACK THERE...NOT THE FRONTLINE.

//Happy thoughts//

Fellow Gooner @ work left the hellhole last week. His last words to me:

I know, you are watching the match whenever Arsenal plays.
I know, you will jump for joy whenever Pires scores.
I know, you will double jump for joy whenever Cesc Fabregas scores.

Le Grand Voyage

It was mommy's bday yest.
So I gave her midnight movie treat to Le Grand Voyage.
And we love it to bits.
I can't describe the feeling it gives off as yet.I watched loads of emotional movies which made me cry but this leaves you with that 'sebak' feeling, till NOW.

Pires banged in 2 goals against Cardiff. * OK lah, aku tak cerewet, as long as we are banging in goals*

It kinda leaves me paralysed when I'm thrown into unexpected situation.

Shoot.

I wish they didn't pass around the ball too much ard the opposition penalty box.
And once in a while try a long range shot, perhaps, score a scrappy goal.
We need someone MORE selfish and fearless enough to get the goals, rather than laying half assed chances for King Henry, missing RVP!
That was not to be, keeps on passing it is.

Anything for a win.

If it's any consolation.

- We did not lose.
- Cygan wasn't too bad, deserves a lil clap for keeping C. Ronaldo at bay in the first half.
- Gunners showed more COMMITMENT this time.
- First half was GOOOD stuffs. (esp. first 15 mins)
- The ref was quite OK, but he did miss out Fabregas-supposed-to-be-penalty due to tackled from behind by Charlie Chaplin in the penalty box (boo! he was blocked by O'shea's ass lah but what the hell is the ref asst. doing??)
- Gil finally doing his work.

Things to :D about:

- Adek Cesc shot just wide *it was close*
- Pires shot saved, brilliant shot but too bad lah... the keeper was nearby.
- Pires made interceptions and tackles??
- Pires loses his head a bit after a meaningless tackle from O'shea.
- Cesc played like a young fearless warrior.

Overall, it was a peaceful game. Altho' wld love a headbutt or kungfu kick on CharliChaplin's/Hitler's face.

I actually said " yeay, nari nak tgk Arsenal kalah!" during dinner.
Got mildly violent objection from the dad and bro.
I'm still bitter over the wkend issue.

Anyway Nor, smlm Arsenal vs ManU, did Aisyah and her tok watch the match? hee hee hee

External.

Joyeux Noel was good. :D
Guilliame Canet and Daniel Bruhl!!!!

Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam 2 was... err... gd too.
Sampai ngigau aku tido mlm...
THE pontianak looks like Marilyn Manson.
Which is not THAT scary. The flying and that crouching under the table and on the side table, that makes it all freakout worthy. Erm... and that climbing Spiderman style.
Hey babe, thks for coming over and bringing that DVD!!
