The Sun, The Sand and The Sea

It was a S.S.S. CNY getaway...
The best bud and I were down @ ECP for our laze ard afternoon.
We had enough of the concrete jungle, nasty fumes and crazy retail therapy.
Packed ourselves with the essentials, errr we actually SHOP (ahah! retail therapy!) for the essentials at Parkway Parade. Kickass meals at hawker center nearby and armed with trusty VITTEL we walk down to ECP, to enjoy our afternoon reading (heh, mcm kat rumah tak boleh baca buku), get ourselves amused with best bud's toy heli (Apache siol!) and loads of camwhoring... and sleep lah.

The next 2 days , i was over in PeeDee (Port Dickson), thanks to the Dad impromptu suggestion.
Most hotels were fully booked but we did get one *phew!*. Alhamdullilah, if not we would have to bunk in the car. I missed plonking myself like a baby hippo in the blue sea, drinking and breathing seawater. A jetski ride to top it all. The food were good too... kickass rendang and seafood!

My first drive on M'sian HIGHway *its a BLARDEY HIGHwayyyyyyy*... a full hour drive. Ok lah.. aku terabit carried away*jakon lah tu* cos i have'nt even go on EXPRESSway yet. ahakahkahk.

And I was flyingggggggggg!!!

Questions to answer.

Kudos to this Joel for penning hit the nail analysis. I couldnt AGREE MORE!

I was surprised by how emotionlessly I watched the game. It was clear 10 minutes into the game that some old Arsenal errors were going to come up and that Wenger would not react to it. It was prepared for the same old frustration, so I switched off my emotions.' (Whoa, spot on. I'm getting good at this!)

I am not a fan of Mourinho or Ferguson, but when I watch Arsenal sometimes and see Henry, Píres and Campbell pottering around on the pitch for 45 minutes as if they aren't bothered, I really wish they would be heading to Ferguson's or Mourinho's dressing room instead of Wenger's at half time to get a good talking to. ( I think Pires's long Severus-Snape like locks would do some good with the 'hairdryer treatment)

Fabregas is a junior player at Arsenal who cannot shout at Henry or anyone else when they do something wrong on the pitch. He desperately wants to but he can't yet. So he takes his frustration out on the opposition, this is not the first time he has got in a fight with the opposition. It was only a matter of time before he got sent off when Arsenal are losing. It happened at Everton because his team mates frustrated him. (Poor Adek Cesc kaaaan!)

Píres, Campbell and Henry wouldn't run as much Fabregas and Reyes do. Freddie started running and working but his skill is not back yet. Reyes, Fabregas Flamini, Lauren, Sanderos, etc. have to run and fight every ball in order to get a game the next time. It is frustrating to them because Píres, Campbell, Henry don't have to work to get a game.

Henry would do well to look at Reyes, Rooney and Ronaldinho. They all work very hard. Man Utd won at Liverpool without a midfield or a decent defence. The reason why is because they play 5-5-3. Doesn't add up? Well that's because Rooney plays in defence, in midfield and in attack at the same time. Reyes tries the same for Arsenal. Ronaldinho does the same for Barcelona. These players are worth £30million every day. Henry is worth something once a month – it's not good enough! (Precisely!)

I had a loong chat with my bestie yesterday,
I was torn.. but she set the record straight and I have to live with the fact.
Many thanks to her for listening to me and giving me a solution, eventho' she's just back from work and all.
I know I can always depend on her.

NOT AT FAULT.

My brain tells me I am not at fault but why am I being so fucking apologetic?

Class 95

*boo* every team in the top 5 seems to have bad result this weekend 'cept Manyoo.
Quoted from Glen Ong: What was that man? 90th min? That's SUAY!

This weekends Asst. Refs ought to have their eyes gouge out.
Just how many POOR DECISIONS they can make on the offside rule in a game.
It's atrocious!

Harapan setinggi gunung...hancur lebur menjadi debu.

Adek Cesc got sent off.
We Lost for the _ timeS.
Thank you SendyLove, for being patrick.
I'm skeptical if we EVER see Champions League next year.
I don't blame them really, we were pretty stretched back there but its the BACK THERE...NOT THE FRONTLINE.

//Happy thoughts//

Fellow Gooner @ work left the hellhole last week. His last words to me:

I know, you are watching the match whenever Arsenal plays.
I know, you will jump for joy whenever Pires scores.
I know, you will double jump for joy whenever Cesc Fabregas scores.

//Blog worthy//

Caught Memoirs of Geisha yesterday, it was pretty good.
I find the movie emotionally draining, the same way I felt when I finished reading kite runner.
( Hey, Az thanks for the treat!)

Green Street Hooligans (Football Hooligans)
it's greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!
I learnt something from that movie:
PMS - Pre Match Syndrome / Post Match Syndrome.
That 'Pete' bloke looks like a cross between SendyLove and Heath Ledger. Yummeh!
Quite an eye opener, really!

SendyLove & Pires scores!

That aside,

And I am a mess.

Le Grand Voyage

It was mommy's bday yest.
So I gave her midnight movie treat to Le Grand Voyage.
And we love it to bits.
I can't describe the feeling it gives off as yet.I watched loads of emotional movies which made me cry but this leaves you with that 'sebak' feeling, till NOW.

Pires banged in 2 goals against Cardiff. * OK lah, aku tak cerewet, as long as we are banging in goals*

It kinda leaves me paralysed when I'm thrown into unexpected situation.

Shoot.

I wish they didn't pass around the ball too much ard the opposition penalty box.
And once in a while try a long range shot, perhaps, score a scrappy goal.
We need someone MORE selfish and fearless enough to get the goals, rather than laying half assed chances for King Henry, missing RVP!
That was not to be, keeps on passing it is.

Anything for a win.

If it's any consolation.

- We did not lose.
- Cygan wasn't too bad, deserves a lil clap for keeping C. Ronaldo at bay in the first half.
- Gunners showed more COMMITMENT this time.
- First half was GOOOD stuffs. (esp. first 15 mins)
- The ref was quite OK, but he did miss out Fabregas-supposed-to-be-penalty due to tackled from behind by Charlie Chaplin in the penalty box (boo! he was blocked by O'shea's ass lah but what the hell is the ref asst. doing??)
- Gil finally doing his work.

Things to :D about:

- Adek Cesc shot just wide *it was close*
- Pires shot saved, brilliant shot but too bad lah... the keeper was nearby.
- Pires made interceptions and tackles??
- Pires loses his head a bit after a meaningless tackle from O'shea.
- Cesc played like a young fearless warrior.

Overall, it was a peaceful game. Altho' wld love a headbutt or kungfu kick on CharliChaplin's/Hitler's face.

I actually said " yeay, nari nak tgk Arsenal kalah!" during dinner.
Got mildly violent objection from the dad and bro.
I'm still bitter over the wkend issue.

Anyway Nor, smlm Arsenal vs ManU, did Aisyah and her tok watch the match? hee hee hee

External.

Joyeux Noel was good. :D
Guilliame Canet and Daniel Bruhl!!!!

Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam 2 was... err... gd too.
Sampai ngigau aku tido mlm...
THE pontianak looks like Marilyn Manson.
Which is not THAT scary. The flying and that crouching under the table and on the side table, that makes it all freakout worthy. Erm... and that climbing Spiderman style.
Hey babe, thks for coming over and bringing that DVD!!
